All inputs and outputs are available at the patchbay for easy accessibility.

The mixer is wired 1-to-1 with all the inputs from the Studio and to Pro Tools. Meaning, If you plug a source into XLR jack #10 in the studio, that signal will show up on channel #10 on the console and will automatically be routed to Pro Tools input #10.

The Mackie console can be bypassed completely by using the patchbay. Simply reroute your signal from the Studio into an outboard Preamp of your choice, and then patch that signal into a Pro Tools input of your choice - All using the patchbay.

The Monitor Section of the console is used for the monitor volume control and also the talkback microphone for speaking to talent in the Studio.
